Cuenta con unas 130 ovejas Latxa adultas m\u00e1s 45 corderas y se gestiona como un reba\u00f1o comercial dentro del esquema de cr\u00eda de la raza local (Latxa). El objetivo del reba\u00f1o es permitir la realizaci\u00f3n de experimentos y ensayos en condiciones controladas pero no sesgadas por fines productivos o econ\u00f3micos. Adem\u00e1s, en torno al reba\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n se llevan a cabo actividades de demostraci\u00f3n, innovaci\u00f3n o difusi\u00f3n al sector. Dentro del proyecto LIFE GREEN SHEEP, participa como reba\u00f1o innovador.
