The french LIFE GREENSHEEP team presented the whole project at the international agricultural fair Sommet de l’Elevage at Clermont-Ferrand, France. Beside a description of all the actions of the project, an advisor Benoît Nougadère and a breeder, Laurent Reversat from the Roquefort area (South East of France) explained how they conducted the CAP2ER diagnosis on Laurent’s farm. They described what strenghs they identified and what technical levers to reduce GHG and environmental impact.
“This project helps us gathering environmental references on our farms. We can better speak up on our environmental steps forwards” remind Laurent Reversat and Patrick Soury. They are both sheep breeders and respectively chairmen of France Brebis Laitière and Interbev Ovins.
