Hugo Tamain is a breeder of Rava sheep, from Noirétable, in the center of France, and is committed to protecting the environment and producing quality meat. He participates in the European program LIFE GREEN SHEEP with his cooperative COOPAGNO. With his advisor, Anaïs Marteaux, he explains how the CAP’2ER diagnosis tool works, what data are collected, and how it has helped him identify existing good practices on his farm and the progress in reducing GHG emissions on the farm. The results show the volume of GHG  emitted on the farm and what can be sequestered by the farm’s soils under hedges and permanent and temporary grassland.
